SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS – CLASSIC RECIPE

Ingredients – serves 4

MEATBALLS:

– 500g ground beef mince, 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese, 3 tablespoons of dried italian seasoning, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon garlic paste, 1 cup stale breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup fresh chopped basil, and pinch of salt and pepper.

SAUCE:

– 1 diced onion, 2 rashers of bacon diced, 1 cup of mushrooms diced, 1 can of diced tomatoes, 1 tablespoon garlic paste, 2 tablespoons tomato paste, 1/4 cup of fresh chopped parsley.

PASTA:

– Use half of a standard size pasta package. Use angel hair or thin pasta preferably. 2 litres of water to boil, 1 tablespoon salt.
